DDGS production

Principle

DDGS production goal is to valorize a by-product to high added value cattle feed. INTERIS technology includes 4 steps :

  1. Separation : the centrifugal decanter separates thin stillage from the solids (cake).
  2. Concentration : the thin stillage containing proteins is concentrated by an evaporation unit to produce a syrup.
  3. DDGS drying : the cake and the syrup are mixed and dried in a drier. The DDGS go out dried and powdered.
  4. DDGS pelletizing : powdered DDGS are pelletized to increase the density and reduce the transport costs.
